Our Lands, Our Minds: Research and Action Agenda on Indigenous Mental Health in a Changing Climate, World Health Organisation; World Meteorological Organization, By María Faciolince Martina – Independent Climate Consultant Lian Zeitz – Climate Mental Health Network Kisani Upward – University of New England. Dr. Allison Kelliher – Johns Hopkins Dr. Donald Warne – Johns Hopkins Dr. Kenneth Yongabi Anchang – Imo State University Faris Ridzuan – National University of Singapore Dr. Kyle X. Hill – University of Minnesota Seira Duncan – International Arctic Science Committee
I was recommended by UNITAR and GIYSCC and appointed as Advisor for Connecting Climate Minds Indigenous Advisory Group. I was selected to go to Barbados to represent my expertise at a global mental health conference, but could not due to personal exigencies. Connecting Climate Minds is a global project tasked with developing research priorities at the intersection of climate change and mental health. Through regional dialogues with research teams, the insights gathered in these knowledge exchanges will be embedded into a global research and action agenda. The project is led by a consortium with the following members: Climate Cares at Imperial College London, Red Cross-Red Crescent Climate Centre, Climate Mental Health Network, SustyVibes, Caribbean Planetary Health Hub, St Luke’s Medical Centre, Imo State University and Force of Nature, and is funded by the Wellcome Trust.
